Lauren Cornell, MS, RD is a registered dietitian and the founder & CEO of Lauren Cornell Nutrition, Inc., a clinically-based private practice in Los Angeles, California serving both pediatric and adult patients. Lauren specializes in sports & performance nutrition as well as gastrointestinal diseases & disorders such as IBD, IBS, Celiac disease, and intestinal resection. Lauren sits on the Chapter Medical Advisory Committee of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Greater Los Angeles-Orange County chapter. Lauren also serves as a member of the Monash University Low FODMAP Diet U.S. Advisory Board. Lauren also holds a leadership role in the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics' professional practice group, Dietitians in Gluten & Gastrointestinal Disorders (DIGID). Lauren holds a Masters of Science in Nutritional Science from Cal State University-Los Angeles and proudly completed her clinical training within the Greater Los Angeles Veterans’ Affairs Healthcare System as well as at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Prior to becoming a dietitian, Lauren was a collegiate athlete and competitive dancer for over 10 years. Her love for a healthy, fit lifestyle led her to understand food as a means to remain active, treat and prevent illness, and to live the healthy life that she - and you - desire. Her goal now is to pass her understanding on to her patients and teach them how to achieve the life and wellness that they desire through nutrition. Few things bring Lauren more joy than to see a patient reach his or her goals through the work they do together! When not “nutritioning”, Lauren enjoys an active lifestyle, including scuba diving, running, dancing, and spending quality time outdoors with her close friends and family.
